What EX Academy Provides
EX Academy provides online training preparation content for hazardous area electrical work. This includes structured learning modules, mock assessment questions, interactive inspection simulations, and equipment selection scenarios.
Important Limitations
EX Academy is not an official CompEx awarding body. Completion of training on this platform does not confer a CompEx Certificate of Core Competence or any other formal qualification recognised by employers, regulators, or awarding bodies.
Certificates issued by EX Academy confirm completion of our training preparation programme only. They should not be presented as official CompEx certification or used to claim competency in hazardous area electrical work.
Real competency certification requires attendance at an approved assessment centre and successful completion of the official CompEx theory and practical assessments.
Subscriptions and Payment
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout
- Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
- Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after 14 days from purchase
- Team licences are subject to separate agreement terms
Acceptable Use
You may not: share login credentials with others; attempt to copy, scrape, or reproduce platform content; use the platform for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to reverse-engineer the platform.
Content Accuracy
We take care to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that all content reflects the most current version of every IEC standard. Always refer to the current standards and approved documentation for safety-critical decisions in the field.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
